Established in 2014 as a strategic response to the recurring failures in infrastructure, including buildings, roads, and critical facilities, NICTM stands as Nigeria’s premier Federal Polytechnic dedicated solely to construction and allied disciplines. Over the years, we have grown into a recognized Centre of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), committed to producing skilled professionals and entrepreneurs in the construction sector and beyond.

School of Business and Management Technology
Our facilities are world-class, designed to support both academic and practical learning. These include a modern library, state-of-the-art laboratories, fully equipped workshops and studios, comfortable lecture halls, and on-campus hostels for male and female students. Beyond the classroom, our students participate in real-life construction projects on campus and at selected external sites, gaining invaluable hands-on experience.
NICTM also maintains strong industry partnerships that provide both staff and students with local and international exposure through industrial training and collaborative research. Our approach prioritizes skills acquisition over mere certification, ensuring our graduates are job-ready and capable of addressing real-world challenges in construction and related industries.
