The National Institute of Construction Technology and Management (NICTM), Uromi, is hosting a six-day training for 24 prospective Quality Assurance Assessors under the Federal Government’s Mandatory Skills Qualification (MSQ) programmes.
The first leg of the training, which began on Monday and ends on Saturday, is sponsored by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) and facilitated by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
On Tuesday, the Director, Centre for Vocational, Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Uche Okoye, led the trainers and trainees on a courtesy visit to the Rector, Dr. Oyakhiromhe Bamidele Agbadua, to appreciate the Institute for its support.
Responding, Agbadua thanked the NBTE for the initiative and TETFund for sponsoring the programme, while commending the trainers and staff supporting the training.
The programme is designed to equip participants with the competencies required to conduct quality assurance assessments for NSQ and MSQ candidates.
